Weißsee Gletscherwelt

Winter sports fans can enjoy the impressive natural backdrop of mountains that are over 3000 metres in height, nestling in the middle of Hohe Tauern National Park. Very well-tended pistes in all difficulty levels, along with kilometre long deep snow slopes inspire skiers, snowboarders, freeriders, tourers, snow-shoe hikers and ice climbers. The small, yet perfectly formed ski area around the Weißsee Glacier is ideal for a winter holiday with the family. Here in Kinderland, children enjoy their first attempts at skiing and about how to ski safely on the piste. Sun worshippers get to enjoy the superb winter backdrop and relax on the sun terrace in Berghotel Rudolfshütte or at the Grünsee intermediate station. The free ski bus takes guests from Uttendorf in the Pinzgau to the Enzingerboden valley station. From there, continue via the Weißsee Geltscherbahn up to the glacier realm.
