The Schneebären

Ski fun in the centre of Austria. The Schneebären are five charismatic and familial winter sports areas in the snow-assured mountain landscapes in Upper Styria. The Schneebären ski association links five ski mountains and three tourist regions. The ‘Schneebären Card’ links Ausseerland-Salzkammergut, the Gesäuse National Park and the holiday region of Schladming-Dachstein. State-of-the-art lift facilities, a total of 128 terrific kilometres of pistes and plenty of freeride routes are what make the Schneebären stand out. The five ski areas ‘Die Tauplitz’, Ski Riesenalm, Planneralm, Loser Altaussee and Kaiserau reveal a personable, genuine side to their guests and are real insider tips for families, those getting back into the swing of things and pleasure oriented skiers.
