Region Schladming Dachstein

Skiing in the Schladming Dachstein ski region: The Schladming 4-mountain ski area links the ski regions of Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm, creating a hub for fun skiing. The family ski areas of Galsterberg, Fageralm and Ramsau am Dachstein complete the range available to winter sports fans perfectly. Snow-assuredness and pleasure-packed skiing from early winter right through to Easter are guaranteed by state-of-the-art snow-making facilities and the glacier. As the highest peak in Styria, the Dachstein glacier is one of the top visitor destinations in the Schladming-Dachstein region. Attractions such as the Ice Palace, the Suspension Bridge, the Stairway to Nothingness and the Dachstein Skywalk offer memorable experiences at an altitude of 2,700 m. There is no skiing on the Dachstein glacier in the winter 2022/23 season. However, sports enthusiasts can still have a fantastic time cross-country skiing, snowshoe hiking and ski touring.
