Gastein

Three villages with four mountains and 180 kilometres of slopes up to an altitude of 2,650 metres. In winter, Gastein is transformed into a winter sports paradise that fulfils every wish. The highest ski region in the entire Ski amadé association impresses with varied slopes, descents with an altitude difference of more than 1,000 metres, three GASTI Park with skiing fun for the whole family and spectacular freeride routes.

The valley has a total of three ski areas with 180 kilometres of slopes on 4 ski mountains in Bad Gastein, Bad Hofgastein and Dorfgastein. Highlights such as the Nord altitude, the Funline, the Snowpark Gastein, the Skimovie race tracks and the 140 metre long suspension bridge in the Schlossalm-Angertal Stubnerkogel ski area ensure pure skiing pleasure. Sportgastein is a freeride Eldorado and perfect for spring skiing with a high alpine mountain panorama. Wide, family-friendly slopes and the impressive panoramic views at Fulseck make the Dorfgastein–Großarltal ski area a truly special winter experience. Other highlights include Gasti’s Familyline and Gasti’s Snow Park, which ensure skiing fun for the whole family. The relaxing thermal baths right next to the valley run promise enjoyment.
