Postalm Winterpark

Crystal-clear mountain air, sunshine tickling your nose, inspiring panoramic views to the dreamy mountains. On the sunny high plateau (1200m altitude) of the Postalm in Salzkammergut it is tranquil and contemplative. In the biggest Alpine inn in Austria, no excessively noisy music or tacky events disturb sophisticated winter sport. Funded by spirited ski enthusiasts in the local population and by farmers, the Postalm has managed to preserve its simple, yet variety-packed winter guise, far removed from those overflowing ‘skiing strongholds’. In the Postalm ski area skiers and snowboarders will come across 13 kilometres of very well-tended pistes and they can enjoy the beautiful natural landscape while hiking, cross-country skiing or during a ski tour.
