Schmittenhöhe

The Schmittenhöhe ski area is located in Zell am See, in the heart of Salzburger Land. Thanks to its south-facing location, plenty of hours of sunshine are guaranteed during a winter holiday too. Skiers and snowboarders get to enjoy well-groomed slopes and the chance to sunbathe on a terrace in the lodges and mountain restaurants. The panoramic platform “Kaiserblick”, which opened in summer 2025, offers a unique 360° panoramic view of the surrounding three-thousand-metre peaks and Lake Zell. Along with slopes for every level, there are numerous highlights, including a Kidsslope, Funslope XXL, Dragon Park and the Trass descent, which provide entertainment and fun for all the family. Numerous restaurants and huts provide culinary delights with regional treats. Guests have access to a total of 77 kilometres of slopes via the towns of Schüttdorf, Zell am See and Viehhofen.
